She was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of 1946 and immediately following high school went to work at the Westminster Shoe Factory office for 10 years, follow by she was a stay-at-home mom and would help her husband as a bookkeeper for Miller Electrical Service until her retirement in 1991. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, knitting, and taking care of her family and taking trips with her husband to Switzerland, Hawaii, England, Spain, Mexico, and Nassau. Special songs she enjoyed were In the Garden, Trust & Obey, and the Old Rugged Cross. She was formerly a member of Stone Chapel United Methodist Church and had been attending the Church of the Open Door.
The visitation and funeral service will be family only and her interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Mrs. Miller's name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 or The Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Boulevard, Westminster, MD 21157.
