MRS. AGNES WELCH SERVICES FRIDAY
Mrs. Agnes L. Welch, 85, died last Wednesday evening in an Evart Hospital after long illness. She was born March 28, 1867, in Ontario, Canada, and came to the United States when a child. She had lived on a farm near Saugatuck until four years ago when she went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Nelson, of this city. Her husband, Charles Welch, died 23 years ago.
Surviving are the daughter, a sister, Mrs. Eva Richey of Clio, a brother, Albert Lorentz of Afton, Michigan, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken to Saugatuck Friday where funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock on Saturday and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Saugatuck.
The body will lie in state at Rogers Funeral Home tonight and Friday forenoon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Welch, 86, widow of Charles Welch, were held Saturday at the Dykstra Funeral Chapel with the Reverend H.E. Maycroft officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Welch died last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Nelson of Big Rapids, with whom she had made her home for the last five years. She was born in Canada in 1867 and came to Saugatuck as a child.
Surviving besides the daughter are a sister, Mrs. Eva Richey of Clio, Michigan, a brother, Albert Lorentz of Afton, Michigan, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
