LORENTZ- Nicholas A. Lorentz, aged 55, husband of Namie E. Lorentz of 440 Third Street NW, passed away Monday morning. Surviving besides the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Carl Gerard, Mrs. Clarence Williams and Miss. Clarice Lorentz; a son, Wilbur and a brother, Glenn, all of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held from Pilgrim Evangelical Church, Michigan Street and Ionia Avenue, Thursday at 2:30. The body will lie in state at the Morton A. Spring Chapel until 1 PM Thursday and at the church until time of services.

OBITUARY
Nicholas A. Lorentz was born July 26, 1878 in Alaska, Michigan and fell asleep in Jesus, December 4, 1933, aged 55 years, 4 months and 8 days. He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, Mamie, one son, Wilbur Lorentz, three daughters, Mrs. Loraine Gerard, Mrs. Beatrice Williams and Miss. Clarice Lorentz, besides two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, Beverly, Shirley and Wilbur Jr., two brothers, Stephen and Albert, four sisters, Lizzie, Agnes, Barbara and Eva, besides numerous other relatives and friends. He was confined to his bed with tuberculosis at the Sunshine Hospital for nearly five years and was a great sufferer, but patient and cheerful and nurses and orderlies counted it a privilege to attend to his needs. He has gone but we expect to meet him in the morning just outside the eastern gate.
