Mrs. G. A. Carwile
Funeral services for Mrs G. A. "Frankie" Carwile, 93 of Route 1, Winona, were held Thursday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m. from the Rev. J. A. Wade, the Rev. George Heath & Rev. David Pratt officiating. Interment was in the Church cemetery with the Breeland Funeral Home of Canton in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carwile died Tuesday in Winona Manor after a long illness. She was a life-long resident of Route 1, Winona, daughter of the late Michael F. & Margaret Alexander Carter and the widow of the late George A. Carwile, who died in April 1954. She was a member of the Bethleham Baptist Church. She is survived by one son. George F Carwile, Sr. of Winona, 3 daughters, Mrs. J. W. Fisackerly & Mrs. A. L. Bamberg, both of Winona and Mrs. Hayden Herring of Kilmichael; 1 sister, Mrs J. W. Stovall of Memphis, 7 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren.
