Bertsell "Bert" Everson, 89, of Spring Hill, TN, passed away Feb. 7, 2021.

Born Sep. 15, 1931 in the East Bend Community, Belington, WV, he worked on a family sawmill as young as 12 years old, worker in the coal mines, is a Korean War Veteran and a General Motors retiree after 30 years.

He was a long time member of the church, and served as an elder for many years. He worker 30+ years in the jail and prison ministry as well. He loved his large family and was always trying to get them together for reunions, cookouts, or just for any occasion to enjoy his famous "big breakfasts"

Preceded in death by his parents, Madge Wagner Everson and Roy Martin Everson; wife, Marguerite McDaniel Everson; four sisters; seven brothers; grandsons, Andrew McDaniel Everson and Justin Dale; great-grandson, Enoch Everson Hammond.

Survived by his wife of 12 years, Sandra Jett Everson; children, Kerwin Everson (Minta), Roy Everson (Diana), Sonia Everson, Shawn Everson (Amy), Tammy Haskins and Susan Rollins (Danny); grand-children, Amber Hammond (Jeff), Audrey Miller (Maurice), Austen Everson (Leah), Aren Everson (Sarah), Alicia Churchwell (Brandon), Braden Everson (Hannah), Garrett Gross (fiancé, Allie), Kandy Crutcher (Tim), Josh Rollins, and Abby Everson; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Ketchum, Kathern Foy (Loye), and Geneva Poe; brothers, Harold Raymond Everson and Cecil Everson (Roberta); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
