Donald was born in Barbour County, West Virginia on January 18, 1933 and was a resident of the Flint area since 1959. He married Nina Shaffer on August 29, 1959. He was a member of Mt. Morris Church of Christ. Surviving are five children, Donnie and wife Leslie of Clio, Lisa and husband Glenn Markell of Burton, Randy and wife Alison of Baker, Florida, Christopher and wife Jasmin of Flint and Jeffery of Flint; seven grandchildren, Ian, Colin, Jacob, Nina and husband Jacob Liddle, Mariah, Jobe and Autumn; great-grandson, Ryden; brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina; infant granddaughter, Meghan Everson; brothers and sisters.
