George "Frank" McGhee 93,passed away September 23,2004 at home. He was born in Hurricane, West Virginia and was the son of Virgil S. And Effie "Mae" (Spurlock) McGhee.

Before he retired from Union Carbide, Frank purchased a farm in Griffithsville, WV and enjoyed farming the land for several years before moving back to Hurricane.

He was married to Helen McGhee and together they have four children. Michael (Kathy) Mcghee, Billy Joe (Carolyn) Mcghee, Sharon (Richard) Thomas, Barbara (Bill) White.He has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-granchildren.

He was one of 11 children including sisters Fay McGhee, Donna Lucas and Ruby Lucas and brothers Clyde, Clay, Raymond, Joe, Fred, Frank and Charles∼Frank was the son of the late Virgil S.. And Effie " Mae"
( Spurlock) Mcghee. He was married to Helen Mcghee and together they have four children. Micheal(Kathy) Mcghee, Billy Joe (Carolyn)Mcghee, Sharon (Richard) Thomas,Barbara
(Bill)White.
He was one of 11 children including sisters Fay Mcghee, Donna and Ruby Lucas , and brothers Clyde, Clay, Raymond, Joe, Fred, and Charles. Together with his wife Helen they have 4 children Billy Joe(Carolyn)McGhee, Barbara(Jerry)Templeton, Sharon(Richard)Thomas, Micheal(Kathy)Mcghee. 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
