Born March 30, 1900, in West Virginia to John and Melissa Rogers Stegner, she married Fred W. Windom on March 6, 1920, in Galesburg. He died in 1965. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are three sons, Robert of Galesburg, Bernard of rural Galesburg and Roy of Huntington, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Louise) Johnson of Carman and Mrs. Dean (Evelyn) Carlson of Mesa, Ariz.; and one sister, Geneva Quiggins of Knoxville.
A Galesburg resident for the past 30 years, she and her husband farmed in Knox County for many years.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
