Mrs. Cox, 87, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Woodworth, La. She was a saleslady for Fabrific in Natchitoches, La. She was a member of Weaver Methodist Church at Flora, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Ily Cox; parents, William Riddle and Mamie Neal Riddle; grandson, Ronald Brent Scroggins; great-great-grandson, Jerry Lynn 'Trey' Chandler III; four sisters, Willye McMain, Myrtis Tilley, Bertie Carter, and Ruby Carter.
She is survived by two daughters, Robbie Scroggins and husband Ronald of Natchitoches, La. and Darlene Cox of Houston, Tx.; one granddaughter, Kimberly Duke; two great-grandchildren, Lacy Chandler and Kelsey Ward; great-great-granddaugher, Alyssa Chandler Pallbearers will be Zip Bennett, Fred Carter, Trey Duke, Harold Poole, Jr., Kelly Dortlon, Arvy Ross, Buddy Wood, and W. D. Bass.
