Robbie Scroggins, 70 years of age, passed away September 20, 2011. Robbie was born February 13, 1941 to the late Lucien Ily Cox and Annie Riddle Cox in Natchitoches, LA. She was retired from Northwestern State University. She was very strong in her faith and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter; two granddaughters; three great grandchildren; and one sister of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald M. Scroggins; parents, Lucien Ily Cox and Annie Bell Riddle Cox; one son, Ronald Brent Scroggins; and one great grandson, Trey Chandler.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Lonnie Carter, Greg Carter, Tim Scroggins, John Wood, Harold Poole, Jr. and Chris Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Roy A.Cook, Woody Cox, John Bernard, Fred Carter, C. J. Scroggins and many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
