She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William Earl Ard and T.C. “Bud” Gordon, son, Robert Ard, sister, Laverne Kilgore (Bedford) Wortham, brothers, David Earl (Teresa) Kilgore and John Robert (Marilyn) Kilgore.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathy Britt, New Albany, Pamela (Donald) Tubedrville, Woodland; sons, Larry Joe Ard, Tupelo, Gary Ard, Houston, Stanley (Sue) Ard, Houston, Stevie (Linda) Ard, Guntown; sisters, Geneva Kilgore (Joe) Mooneyham, Betty Sue (Gene) King, Barbara Faye Kilgore (Travis) Franks, Pamela Joyce (Scott) Samuell; James Horace (Lorette) Kilgore, Dennis Lynn (Ann) Kilgore, Warren Douglas (Elizabeth) Kilgore, Billy Ray (Brenda) Kilgore, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The words are by her sister, Sue. Maylene was a kind, brave, witty, refreshing, and she could make a sad heart laugh again. We are going to miss you dearly sister, but we will see you again soon some day. A Pinky promise!
Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman 340 Hill Avenue from 9:00A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home chapel in Vardaman. Bro. Scott Samuell will be officiating in the service.
