Theodore E. Krueger, 83, 2600 E. Main St, Merrill, died on Sunday, January 20, 1985 at Holy Cross Hospital. He was born on October 15, 1901 in the Town of Scott to the late Herman and Minnie (Weisshehn) Krueger. He married Esther Karow on April 18, 1925 in the Town of Pine River. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and served as an Elder and ambassador at the church. He was a farmer and cheesemaker on his Town of Scott farm until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Lois Barth and Mrs. Joanne Rahn, both of Appleton, Mrs. Marian Wadzinski, Marathon, and Mrs. Sharon Smith of Merrill; two sons, Eugene and Arman both of Madison; three brothers, George Krueger of Reedsburg, August Krueger of Austin, MN; and Martin Krueger of Pine Crest Nursing Home; a sister Mrs. Amanda Schneider of the Town of Scott; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 23, 1985 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. The Rev. Donald Schulz and the Rev. Donald White officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park. The Taylor Funeral Home of Merrill was in charge of the arrangements.
