Rites For Fred Krueger To Be Held Friday.
Fred H. Krueger, Route 6, Merrill, town of Pine River died of a heart attack in the Parmentier Supply Store, 816 East First street, at 10:15 a.m. yesterday. Mr. Krueger was born May 20, 1891, in the town of Scott, to Herman and Minnie Weishahn. He married to Ella Seeger, November 11, 1913, in Mauston, WI. He was a retired cheesemaker and farmer. He was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Irene) Parmentier, Merrill; two sons, Alvin and Lester Krueger, both of Merrill; five brothers, Rudolph and August of Austin, Minn; George of Reedsburg, WI, and Theodore and Martin of the town of Scott; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Schneider, town of Scott; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Eleanore, and three brothers, Paul, Hubert and Louis. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ with the Rev. A.C. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the Taylor funeral home from 2 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday when Mr. Krueger will be taken to the church to lie in state from 11 a.m. until the hour of services.
