A retired farmer and lifelong resident of Central Missouri, William M. Myers, 84, died Wednesday at his home at Ulman. He suffered a paralytic stroke a few days ago.
Mr. Myers was born in Miller County, Feb. 7, 1870. About 60 years ago he was married to Miss Martha Pierce, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Perry Myers, Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Alvarez, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Mayfield, Ulman and Mrs. Dessie Hix, Tuscumbia; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Mount View Church of Christ, Bro. James Truitt officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Point cemetery.
