Funeral services for Neta Jean Middleton, 84 of Wildsville, LA will be held at Evangeline Baptist Church at 10AM on Monday, May 15, 2017 with Bro. Curtis Smith and Bro. Dennis Baker officiating.
Internment at Evangeline Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Neta Jean Middleton was born on Saturday, January 28, 1933 in Sicily Island, LA. and passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 in Maurice, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Evangeline Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents- Roy Levester Speights and Martha Elizabeth Speights; 4 brothers- Shirley Speights, Cooper Wray Speights, Wayne Speights, and Charles Speights; 5 sisters- Ruth Dabbs, Doris Nell Trisler, Myrtle Lee Cooper, Virginia Chevallier, and her identical twin sister- Veta J. Riggs.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years- Floyd Middleton of Maurice, LA; 2 sons- Terry Middleton of Vivian, LA and Les Middleton & his wife Robin of Maurice, LA; 5 grandchildren- Samuel Middleton, James Middleton, Jessica Middleton, Bailey Middleton, and Andrew Middleton; and 2 great-grandchildren- Hunter Middleton and Skylar Middleton.
Pallbearers will be David Wade, Aaron Wade, Stevie LaCroix, David Alvin Chevallier, Mike Bodin, and John Austin Colclasure.
Honorary Pallbearers are Sonny 'Si" Robertson and Bobby Emrick.
