Masonic Emblem.

A. J. Martin was one of the organizers of the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, in 1885.

A window in the church was dedicated to his memory.

He married Sarah Gwin, on 23 Oct., 1855, a daughter of Col. William Gwin, who served in the Civil War, Co., C 33rd Mississippi.

Tombstone of Albert Jarvis and Sarah A. Gwin Martin, my great-grandfather and great-grandmother. A.J. Martin was a Master Mason, a member of Bogue Chitto Lodge #260.
