Reardan Pioneer Taken by Death; Dan C. Humphrey, pioneer of Reardan, died Sunday at Hood River, Ore. He was 73 and an old-time member of the Odd Fellows lodge. He came to Reardan in 1888. In 1900 he was married to Miss Margaret Wolford of Spokane. Surviving are his widow, Margaret; a daughter, Mrs. Amy Adams of Hood River; three sons, George of Hood River, and Charles and Lauren, both of Reardan; four grandchildren and a brother, S.W. of Siebert, Col. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Reardan with burial in the Reardan cemetery. [Spokane Daily Chronicle; November 12, 1934; p.6]
