John Wesley Burr, 60, who had worked as a painter, died Thursday in John C. Lincoln Hospital.
Mr Burr, of 2510 E Kings Ave., was a native of Sumner County, Kan., who moved to Phoenix in 1969 from Arkansas City, Kan.
Survivors include three sons, Duane of Albany, Ore., and Gary and David of Arkansas City; a brother, Clarence of Phoenix; two brothers and four sisters our of state; and two grandchildren.
Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday in Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. Seventh St.
