William Henry Harrison Meek was an infant son of Joseph and Virginia Meek. He and his family were early settlers to this area, prior to Oregon statehood. The names of 3 of his siblings are also included on this monument. All four died between 1858 and 1860, prior to construction of this church and cemetery. William was 5 months old.

At the residence of his father, in Washington county, on the 30th June, after a short illness, WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON MEEK, aged 5 months, son of Joseph L. Meek, of Tualatin Plains.

Note: Cenotaph. Names of 4 children: Atchinson Dallas, Hiram C., William Henry, and Josephine Meek who died prior to establishment of this church and cemetery. They are interred at the site of Methodist Meeting House (no longer in existence)
