Services for Mrs. George (Addie) Brown, formerly of Chicota, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Forest Chapel Methodist Church with burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery by Leverett and Steele Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born Jan. 31, 1898, in Grant, Okla., daughter of the late William T. Annett and Bertha Massey. She married George [H.] Brown in 1913 in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Chicota Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband of Paris; four sons, Arlie Brown of Powderly, Raymond Brown of Houma, La., Edgar Brown of Forest Chapel and George Brown of Sawyer, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Virginia) Marable of Charles City, Va.; one brother, William Annett of Forest Chapel; four sisters, Mrs. Jack Kinworthy and Mrs. Lee Chadwick, both of Chicota, Mrs. Rob Armstrong of Brookston and Mrs. Mack Hardy of Houston; 30 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brown died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
