Marion-Janie Marie (Boatright) Dippie, 98, passed away on September 3, 2019 at Angel Acres nursing home in Marion.
Janie was born to Hugh and Courtney (Jones) Boatright on March 15, 1921. She was married to Bob Dippie with whom she shared 56 years of marriage until his passing on November 15, 1992.
Janie is survived by one daughter, grandsons, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her only son, Bobby Joe Dippie on February 20, 2001 and grandson Darren Lee Pulley on August 8, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Lloyd, Leamon and Hugh and three sisters, Ruby, Jewell and Bessie.
Per her request, there will be no services. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
