Mrs. Crown was born in Dummerston, Vt. on Feb 23,1909, the daughter of William & Rosella (Alrich) Kent, & attended Brattleboro schools.
She married Richard F Crown, & they moved to Woolrich in the 1930's. Mr Crown died Jan 17, 1989.
Mrs Crown owned & operated Crown Kennels in Woolwich, where she raised & showed Scottish Terriers.
She was a member of the West Bath Grange, Sagadahoc Pomona & the State & National Granges. She enjoyed knitting & Crocheting, & was a the winner of several ribbons at the Topsham Fair.
Surviving are two brothers, Richard Kent of Lagrangeville, NY., William Kent of Desert Hot Springs, Ca. three sisters, Rosella Desbiens of East Havens, Conn., Mable Brown of Bernardston, Mass., & Mary Avery of Brockton, Mass., & several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond Kent, Francis Kent, John & Ralph Kent.
