Velma Lois Mixon
BRECKENRIDGE - Velma Lois Mixon, 83, died Wednesday in Breckenridge.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Woodson Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Hester officiating, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
Mrs. Mixon was born in Comanche and attended school in Lusk. She moved to Elbert in 1935 and Breckenridge in 1976. She was the widow of J.R. Mixon, whom she married in 1936 in Olney.
Survivors include one son, James Donald Mixon of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Helen Molano of Snyder; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels and left at the funeral home.
