Nancy Ann Everman married Andrew Gardner, the son of Henry Gardner, on February 14, 1839 in Putman County, Indiana. They had at least 10 children together. Andrew was a widower and the father of Nety Gardner, who married Nancy's brother, Andrew Everman. Andrew Gardner was born in North Carolina and died in Putman County, Indiana, on August 21, 1849 at the age of 52. He is buried in Forgy Cemetery beside his first wife Margaret Byerly. After Andrew died, Nancy remarried to John Forgey.
