Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Crawford, of Thompsonville, Venetia R. D. 1, died January 21, 1953 at 12:25 a. m. at her home, following an illness of three weeks.
She was born in Library, Pa., September 7, 1873, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane Fourmeaux Guthrie, and was married to Charles T. Crawford, September 7, 1898 at Thompsonville. She was a member of Center Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Missionary Society of that church and was active in church as long as her health permitted.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John R. Houston, of Venetia R. D. 1: two grandchildren, Mrs. Edward Kenneweg, of McDonald and Miss Mildred Houston, of Thompsonville; three brothers, William Guthrie, of Canonsburg, John L. Guthrie, of Washington and J. Park Guthrie, of Adamsville, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Hinton and Griffith Funeral Horn where services will be held Friday, January 23, at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Joseph H. Rodger of Center Presbyterian Church Burial will be in Oak Spring Cemtery.
