OBITUARY FOR MAGGIE JENKINS AUGUST 18. 1967 FROM THE PARSON SUN PARSONS

MRS. MAGGIE JENKINS
Mrs. Maggie Pearl Jenkins was found dead Thursday by her son, Lee Jenkins, at their home seven miles east and one mile south of Parsons. She was 76.
Jenkins said his mother was all right when he left home at 9 a. m. She was dead sitting in a chair when he returned home at noon.
She was born Oct 5, 1890, in Pennsylvania and attended school in that state. At the age of 19 she moved to Lincoln, Neb.
She married Lyman Jenkins in February 1915 at Lincoln, Neb. They moved to Salina in 1929 and to Parsons in 1937. He died in 1952.
Surviving besides her son are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Lunday, Erie, a brother William Baker, Lincoln, Neb., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Carson Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Daetwiler. Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery at Lincoln, Neb.
The body is at the funeral home.
