OBITUARY ELIZABETH BAKER CLOSE FROM EVENING TIMES, CUMBERLAND, MD. FRIDAY

Mrs. Elizabeth Close
Frostburg--Mrs. Elizabeth (Baker) Close, 78, widow of John D. Close, died yesterday at her home, 276
East Main street, after been in ill health since June.
A native of Pocahontas, Pa., she had resided here most of her life. She was member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild and Loyalty Bible Class of the church. Mrs. Close was a past chief of Calanthe Temple 3, Pythian Sisters, and was a member of Mountain Chapter 15, Order Eastern Star.
Surviving are two sons, James H. Close, Frostburg, and Noah Close, Kingwood, W. Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Arch Davis and Mrs. George Savage, both of Frostburg, and Miss Marion Close, Washington; a sister, Mrs. William Naggs, Baltimore; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers, all of Lincoln, Neb.
