Michael Lee Grubaugh was born in 1947 to John Millard Grubaugh and Josephine Louise Meeting. He was the 9th of their ten children - seven boys and three girls. When Michael was still very young, his birth parents were struggling to feed all of the children, so Catholic Charities stepped in to help find the children homes. Michael and two of his siblings, Michael and Sharon, were adopted by an older couple in Toledo, Ohio - Bernard J. Leasor and Valita A. Sendelbach. All three children acquired the surname Leasor

Michael spent much of his life in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, his adopted parents, 4 brothers and two sisters. He is survived by two brothers, Bill Grubaugh of Mansfield, OH and Louis Leasor of Waterville, OH and one sister, Marilyn Holmes of Lake Bluff, IL.
