Miss Clara I Ablett, for a year or more a teacher in the Cohoes public schools. She was a sister of Misses Emma and Mary Ablett, teachers in the local public schools and Miss Agnes Ablett, a teacher in the schools of Mechanicville. She died at her residence where she had been ill for several months.

Miss Ablett was born in Cohoes and had resided there all her life. She was a graduate of Egberts High school and later completed a course at the State College of Teachers, Albany.

The funeral of Miss Clara I Ablett was held form the residence, 87 Vliet Street, and later from St. Agnes Church, where Rev. Raymond J Doran, assistant pastor, celebrated a high mass of requiem. Relatives were the bearers. Burial was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.
