Fred A. Ablett died at his residence, 830 Saratoga street, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Ablett moved about 35 years ago to Cohoes. He was a charter member of Cohoes Council, Knights of Columbus. Mr. Ablett at one time was alderman from the Fourth ward and also for a number of years conducted a grocery business in Cohoes with his uncle, Amos J. Ablett, deceased. Of late years he had been in the employ of the State.

His widow, Jennie, one daughter, Miss Clara Ablett, and two sons, John and Fred Ablett, survive.

Cohoes Council, Knights of Columbus, met and took action on the death of Brother Fred A. Ablett. The council will attend the funeral this morning. Funeral from the residence and then from St. Bernard's Church. Interment in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Albany.
