The funeral of Philip Ablett was held yesterday morning from St. Agnes' Church. A solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated. Rev. M.C. Gavin was celebrant; Rev. Daniel P. Mahoney, of Troy, deacon; Rev. Joseph Thornton, sub-deacon, and Re. Mgr. Dugas, master of ceremonies. Rev. Thomas Mahoney, of Coeymans, was also in the sanctuary. The four sons and two nephews of Mr. Ablett were the bearers.

In the 1855 census, Philip Ablett, 19, is living with his parents, Daniel, 44, and Mary Ablett, 38, and his siblings: Robert 16, Susannah 14, William 12, Mary 9, Munson 5, and Amos 3.

In the 1860 census, Philip Ablatt, age 25, is a factory operator. He is living in Schaghticoke with his wife, Julia 23, and their children: Frederick 3, and Emma 9 months.

Philip Ablett of Vliet Street, while pruning a grape vine Saturday, fell from the arbor and his right shoulder was dislocated.
