She was born on December 23, 1931 in Boone County, IN, daughter of the late Joseph W. Fairfield and Goldie Mae (Toney) Fairfield.
Lottie was a fork lift driver at Green Giant for over 10 years. Later she worked in Housekeeping at Hour Time Hotel for 2 years. Formerly, a member of Jaycees in Frankfort, IN. Lottie enjoyed watching TV, camping, and fishing.
Surviving are six children; 24 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lottie is preceded in death by four children - Darlena Kay Sloan, Penny Cole, Margaret Ray and Jesse Cole; three sisters - Dorothy Unangst, Clara Goode and Mabel Barker; eight brothers - Clancy, Floyd, Eugene, Wilbert, Donald, Ernest, Melvin and Jessie Fairfield; two grandchildren, J.A. Cole and Ethel Ann Cole; and a great-grandson, Michael Hatfield.
