Funeral services for Robert Franklin Hamon, 89, of Hollister were held Wednesday at Whelchel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jay Scribner officiating. Burial was in Cedar Valley Cemetery. He died Monday at Rolling Hills Nursing Home. Survivors include his wife, Della; his sons, Lloyd Raymond Hamon and Arthur Wendle Hamon, both of Omaha, Arkansas, David Hamon of Raytown, Carrol Eugene Hamon of Longmont, Colorado, and Gordon William Hamon of Kirbyville; his daughters, Alta Mae Cary of Hollister, Alice Ruth Berry of Hermiston, Oregon, Lena Pearl Plott of Nixa, and Evelyn Hamon of Salina, Kansas; nineteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
