Carrol Eugene Hamon, 86, of Longmont died on October 19, 2012 at his home. He was born on November 14, 1925 in Green Forest, Arkansas to Robert Franklin and Eva Idella "Della" Hamon. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Alice Marie Skidmore in 1946. He graduated from Colorado A&M in 1951 with a degree in Agronomy. He retired as State Agronomist in 1987. He was preceded in death by his wife; and his daughter, Deanna Ruth Seeley. He is survived by his son, David William Hamon of Stafford, Virginia; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westview Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery with Ahlberg Funeral Chapel directing arrangements.
