Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Wyvonne Harrison, 74, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2000 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Shirl Smith officiated. Interment was made in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Scott County.
Mrs. Harrison passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2000 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest. She was a lifelong resident of Scott County and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Bobbie Jean Harrison, Sandhill; daughter and son-in-law, Dinah and Skip Bailey, Lake; two brothers, S.J. Alford, Arthur Neal Alford, both of Morton; four sisters, Nellie Shaw, Forest, Annie Belle Fitzhugh, Morton, Irene Martin, Pearl, Mecie Gay Capps, Ludlow; two grandchildren, Leigh Harrison and Tammy McGee, both of Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ausbon Harrison.
Pallbearers were Daniel Fitzhugh, Wayne Jordan, Robert Shaw, Mike Crapps, Sheldon Alford, and Shannon Davis.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.
