Just so it is known; I did go to my grandpa's grave in 1996 and did dig down and bury a small amount of my mom's ashes with her father.

Funeral services for Frank B. Ehler, 74, of 119 West South St., will be held Friday at 3:30 P.M., at Searby Funeral Home, Du Quoin with Reverend Wallace Watson officiating. Interment will be in Campbell Cemetery. Mr. Ehler died Tuesday, October 17, 1989 at 6:52 P.M., in Marshall Browning Hospital.
Visitation is at the funeral home after 6p.m. today.
Born October 24, 1914, in Tamaroa, he was the son of the late Warren and Anna (Marlow) Ehler. ON August 28, 1965, he married Idries Hunter who survives. He was a retired section worker for ICG Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Way Employees.
Besides his widow, other survivors are a son, Willard Ehler of Du Quoin; a daughter, Gloria Dawn Stewart of the state of Washington; one brother, Chuck Ehler of Rio, Illinois; four sisters, Grace Huggins, Lola Moore, Lillian Fisher and Hope Ehler, all of Tamaroa; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
