Funeral Services Friday for Carmen L. Harris, 80

Funeral services for Carmen L. Harris, 80, of Rt. 1 Tamaroa, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from Tamaroa Christian Church with Reverend Howard Rentfro officiating. Internment will be in the Tamaroa City Cemetery. Mrs Harris died Tuesday at 3:30 P.M. at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is at Searby Funeral Home, Tamaroa after 6 p.m. Thursday.
Born November 8, 1900 in Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Warren W. and Anna (Marlow) Ehler. On November 9 1922 in Pinckneyville she married Olin K. Harris who preceded her in death on November 10, 1973. She was a member of the Tamaroa Christian Church.
Surviving are three daughters; Betty Leidig of Addison; Colleen Stanley of Springfield, and Jeanette Eisenhauer of Monomet; three brothers, Charles Ehler of Rio IL., and Frank and Cecil Ehler of Du Quoin,
four sisters, Grace Huggins, Lola Moore, Lillian Fisher and and Dorothy Hope Ehler of Tamaroa; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents; four brothers and one sister precede her in death.
