Services for Lucille Sams, 78, of Euclid, a homemaker, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Born Oct. 17, 1924, in DeRoche, Ark., she lived in the Cleveland area for more than 50 years. Mrs. Sams died Oct. 18, 2002, at Altercare of Mentor, in Concord Township.

Survivors are her daughters, Carol (Gregory) Williams of Dayton and Susan (Thomas) Conley of Mentor; son, Michael (Mary) Sams of Euclid; grandchildren, Melissa, Nicholette, and Andrea; brothers, Cecil, Charles, Hershael, John, and Carol Thomason, all of Bismark, Ark.; sisters, Jean Cansler of Bismark, Ark., and Edith Lee of Texarkana, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Earl L. Sams, died in 1980, and her son, John Sams, died in 1997. Her parents, John F. and Eunice (Whitley) Sams, and sisters, Grace Cooley and Hazel Broznin, are also deceased.

Burial will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.
