Mrs. Jessie Sluder Radcliff, 69, of Swannanoa, died Saturday, June 25, 1977, in an Asheville hospital.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a retired employee of Beacon Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Azalea United Methodist Church and was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Minnie Rogers Sluder.

Surviving are the husband, Walter H. Radcliff; two sons, Walter Radcliff, Jr. and Donald Radcliff; six sisters, Mrs. Zennie Bridges, Mrs. Willa Mae Silvers, Mrs. Edna Ballard, Mrs. Zelma Parris, Mrs. Annie Fender and Mrs. Bertha Shelton; six brothers, Roy Sluder, Clyde Sluder, Charlie Sluder, William Sluder, Kenneth Sluder and Floyd Sluder; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 1977, in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial was in Skyview Memorial Park in Swannanoa.
