Charles A. Carr passed away peacefully at home , surrounded by family on Sept. 28, 2009, in Lakemore, Ohio.

He was born March 12, 1919 to the late William and Lovena Carr. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Rose and his daughter, Brenda. He is survived by his son, Charles (Patti); daughter, Kimberly (Richard); brothers, William (Clara), Wesley (JoAnn), and Richard (Dovie); sisters, Hazel (Kenny) and Helen; granddaughters, Loretta, Gwen, Tracy, Kellie, and Michelle; grandsons, Charles, Matthew, and Nate; several great-grandchildren; and our special friend, Helen Carr.

Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. TODAY at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
