"Lovena Pearl Carr, 81, of 3289 Cottage Grove Rd., Akron, died Nov. 17. She was born in Vadis, W. Va., and was a homemaker. She was a member of East Liberty Nazarene Church for 45 years. She is known for Mrs. Carr's Homemade Bread. She was preceded in death by husband, William D. Carr, Sr., son, Edward Clayton Carr, who died while serving his country in World War II, U. S. Navy; and is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mary (Bernard) Rowan of Akron, Mrs. Melva (Calvin) Lint of Akron, Mrs. Helen (Thomas) Harless of Clinton, and Mrs. Hazel (Kenneth) Taylor of Clinton; sons, Fleetwood Carr of Akron, Charles Carr of Lakemore, William D. Carr, Jr. of Akron, Arden Carr of Akron, M. Wesley Carr of Atwater, and J. Richard Carr of Akron; brothers, Eldon Osborne of Akron, Stanley Osborne of Atwater, Earnest Osborne of Uniontown; sisters, Mrs. Merle Grogg of Lakemore, Mrs. Hazel Collins of Linn, W. Va.; 41 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at East Liberty Nazarene Church with Rev. W. W. Hoot and Rev. Clayton P. Wilson officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours at the Schermesser Funeral Home Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
