Henry was the son of Frederick Yerian and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth. His birth date and place are uncertain. The 1850 census of Washington County, Ohio, (here spelled "Yarion") gives his age as 42, born in Ohio. The 1860 census of Columbia Township, Randolph County, Arkansas (here spelled "Yearain") gives his age as 51, born in Pennsylvania. Born in Ohio is Perhaps more credible because we know Frederick Yerian was recorded in Belmont County, Ohio, in 1807 receiving a bounty for killing wolves.
Henry married 1st March 10, 1833, in Morgan County, Ohio, Eleanor McBride.
He married 2nd April 18, 1852, in Noble County, Ohio, Abarilla Dobbins Lang, probably daughter of William Dobbins and Catherine Hill. Abarilla had been previously married to Asa Lang and had a son by him, Clemmons Lang.
Henry's brother, Joseph, was in Wood County, West Virginia, in 1860 and that is where Henry's widow and children are found in 1870. Henry must have died in the late 1860's, as his next to last child was born in Ohio and the last in West Virginia.
Abarilla's 3rd marriage was to Isaac Milstead.
Besides the children linked below Henry had:
Angelina b.ca.1855, m.1871 Austin White b.ca.1850.
