Daniel was the son of Frederick Yerian and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth.
He married about 1831, Muskingum or Licking County, Ohio, to Mary Trago.
Daniel and the widow of his brother Jacob, Jane Vernon Yerian, settled in Jackson County, Ohio, by the 1850's. Daniel, Mary, and Jane Vernon Yerian are all buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
