Jeleanor Stewart Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Nelson Damron and Troy Tackett officiating.
Interment Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.

Jeleanor Stewart, age 81 of Pikeville, passed away, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Mt. View Health Care Center, in Elkhorn City.

She was a school teacher for 43 years at Rockhouse, Wolfpit, Harless Creek and Millard grade schools. She was a member of the Faith First Baptist Church for 38 years.

She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on January 25, 1927 the daughter of the late Riley A. Coleman and Carrie Adkins Coleman.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carvel Stewart and one brother, Dennis Coleman and two sisters, Hula Looney and Mary Smith.

She is survived by four sisters, Vernelia "Nellie" Phillips of Pikeville, Lois Bogar and her husband, Roy of Pikeville, Martha Ward and her husband, Linvel of Louisville and Wanda Mays and her husband, Scottie of Louisville and three brothers, Riley Coleman, Jr. and his wife, Lois of West Chester, Ohio; Lomar Coleman and his wife, Zelda of Hannibal, Missouri and Gary Coleman and his wife, Linda of Camden, Tennessee.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
