Former Lodian Barbara Dearman Dies At Age 69
Mrs. Barbara Ellen Dearman, 69, of Synnyvale, formerly of Lodi, died Monday in a Mountain View hospital following a short illness.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., she attended local schools there. She married Harmon Dearman in Texas and came to Lodi in 1942 and resided here until last years.
Mrs. Dearman lived the last six months at 531 E. Taylor St., Apt 1, Sunnyvale, with a daughter. Her husband, the late Harmon Dearman, died Oct 16, 1961.
She was the mother of Mrs. Pauline Ingle of Stockton and Mrs. Wanda Johnson of Sunnyvale and had five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Mrs. Dearman was the sister of Mrs. Ara Crowder, Miss Bessie Herd, Roy Herd, Hammie Herd and Mrs. Clara Maxwell, all of Wheeler, Tex., and Mrs. Vertie Anderson of Sweetwater, Okla., and Mrs. Mattie Hargett of Tahoka, Tex.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Lodi.
