CINCINNATI, IOWA
—James W. Michaels, 82, a longtime resident of Centerville and Moulton, passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital Sunday evening, July 8, where he had been a patient since July 3. He was a resident of Cincinnati, Iowa at the time of his passing.
Mr. Michaels was born in Mendota, Mo., the son of John Wesley Michaels and Latricia Raines. He was one of ten children, six girls and four boys, of whom all but one brother, Harrison, of Indiana, had preceded him in death.
Mr. Michaels and his wife, Winnie, had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year, having been married April 9, 1902.
Surviving are his wife; two children, Dorris James Michaels of Chicago, and Monta B. Bryson of Centralia, Mo.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home, with Rev. Noah C. Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati.
