Lora Baugher Rites Monday
Lora Ratta Baugher, 74, died Saturday, March 12, 1960, at 4:30 p.m. She had entered the hospital at 10:30 a.m. that morning. She was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Betty Strunk, at 1001 West Ontario. She had made her home with a son, Chester, for several years. She was born in Putnam County, Mo., January 11, 1886, the daughter of John and Leticia Ranes Mickels. She was married to William Thomas Baugher, December 24,1904, who passed away May 31, 1948. Surviving are three daughters and three sons, Nellie Madalozza, Chicago, LI.; Betty Strunk, Centerville; Frances Whiteley, Sewal; Chester and Clifford Baugher, Centerville; and George Lee Baugher, Davenport; two brothers, Harrison Mickels, Highland,Ind; and Jim Mickels, Cincinnati; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Orval Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati.
