Mr. Treman had formerly been married to Ellen Frances Barton. They married June 15, 1927, Ithaca, New York; divorced 1944. Secondly he was married to Pauline Grace née Bird.
He and his first wife were the parents of three children.
He was a graduate of Cornell University, class of 1921 and he was an attorney. He was active in conservation efforts and served as a parks official. Robert H. Treman State Park, Enfield, New York was named for his father.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline B. Treman, of Sarasota and Ithaca; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Downing, Ithaca and Miss Elizabeth L. Treman, Montague, California; three grandchildren; nieces; cousins.
Funeral services will be held in the First Presbyterian Church, Ithaca. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The Wagner funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
