In summer of 2022 I had the time and energy to photograph as much as I could of East Lawn cemetery in Ithaca. When I started, there were ~4245 entries of which only 55% were photographed.

Halfway through my project, I was stopped by cemetery staff, who informed me that photography was not allowed! (This rule is not posted anywhere that I could find)

But incredibly I discovered that TomW had photographed the ENTIRE cemetery back in 2012 and was sitting on ~4000 photographs that he hadn't yet had the time to upload!

I am deeply indebted to him for agreeing to share his photos with me and allowing me to upload them on his behalf. Due to TomW's generosity, I was able to add get East Lawn cemetery up to 91% photographed as of August 26, 2022 (also adding over 300 new memorials in the process).

What remains is something like 400 entries that I couldn't find photos for. At least 75 of those are "recent"(after 2012) deaths that Tom didn't get. Another maybe 75 or so are duplicates and mistakes (I've been going through everything with a fine-toothed comb and sending off corrections when I find them). The rest I don't know. Some may be old unreadable or overgrown stones, or possibly unmarked graves. Some are probably mistaken entries and should be in another cemetery. But I just don't know.

1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 done.
Still needed: sections 2 & 6 (though already well photographed by earlier members)
There is no section 11?

Lettered sections:
Section F-7 done
Section S done
Sections B & E interrupted partway through.
Still needed: A, C, D, F-6, & "Treman Circle"

NWD sections:
3 NWD done.
Still needed: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (many of those are nearly empty)
