City Woman Dies In S. Charleston
Mrs. Caroline Lawson, 79, of 915 Hunt Av., died yesterday morning in the Miller Convalescent Home, South Charleston, after a long illness. She was the widow of Green D. Lawson, who died in 1939.
Mrs. Lawson came to Charleston, 35 years ago from Floyd County, Ky.
She is survived by four sons, James M., Jack L., and Golden, all of Charleston, and Farley of Sciotoville, O.; a daughter, Mrs. Fanny Rhodes of Tyler Mountain; two Hbrothers, Phillip and William Dingus of Hite, Ky.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. tomorrow in Cunningham mortuary chapel. Elders Freer Patton and Vern Whitman will officiate. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park. The body will remain at the mortuary.
Caroline's parents were Charles W. Dingus and Nancy Flannery

2. Farley Lawson was born Dec 1892.
3. Ida Lawson was born Mar 1898.
4. Alva Lawson was born Feb 1896.
5. Golden Lawson.
6. Jack Landon Lawson was born 25 Nov 1902. He died 26 Jul 1968.
7. Fannie Lawson.
